• ABOUT FONTS :
Many people like to put the style font used with a set on their page as their text. Unfortunately, not everyone will see the font as you do. They must have that style font installed on their computer or else they will see the text in whatever style is default for their computer.
• FINDING THE HTML FOR MY LINKWARE SETS :
When you download a set and open the folder containing the set, you should see a blue E which is an internet explorer icon. Click on it (or double click) to pull up your set. Then at the top go to VIEW then VIEW SOURCE and the html will be there for you to copy and paste into your editor. If for some reason you cannot find it, please email me and I can send you the html in notepad form.
• USAGE OF SETS USING LIVING ARTIST ARTWORK :
When using these sets, the terms are that you provide a link back to their site. Not to do so is in violation of copyright laws. These people have been very gracious in allowing me to use their work so please follow the guidelines. These sets may NOT be purchased or used commercially.
• WHEN I CLICK ON THE LINK FOR YOUR SETS, NOTHING HAPPENS :
All my individual sets pop up in a separate window to view. Because of this, your ad blocker may be blocking them. I do not have any ads on my site so this should not be a problem. The only time you will incur popups on my site are on the links page to other sites. I have no control over these. To fix this problem you must allow popups from my site. The newer version of windows have a built in ad blocker so this must be adjusted along with your ad blocker. See your computer manual on instructions for changing your settings or contact your computer maker.
Please note also that to see my sets, you must click on the thumbnail (small picture) not the text.
• PAGE LOADING TIME :
With this age of high speed internet, this is not as much of a problem as it use to be. However, there are still those with dial up and for this reason I try to keep page elements that might slow down load time to a minimum. Things such as animations, floating objects, and snow, rain, or water scripts and or applets will slow down load time.
• SCREEN RESOLUTION SIZE AND BROWSERS:
Ever seen on a site where it is best viewed with resolution size 1024x768 and in internet explorer? This does not mean you cannot view a page. It just means the graphics might not be displayed as intended if your computer is set at a different size or you are using a different browser. Firefox does not recognize a lot of the border codes and java codes used so sets may look "weird" because of this. Hopefully this problem will be fixed before too much longer.
